Art in Healthcare at the Edinburgh Art Fair.

Art in Healthcare is a key charity partner of the Fair and is making a significant contribution to this year’s event by organising a series of activities for the public visiting the Fair. 

Visitors will be encouraged to help artist Olivia Irvine to create a painting live on the Art in Healthcare Stand (E1). 

Four professional artists will give 40-minute talks illustrating their practice and ways of working which are diverse and mix traditional skills and the use of new technologies, here is a snapshot of the programme:

Saturday 14 Nov | 11.30 am: Jenny Smith: Laser-cutting as a drawing medium | 2.30 pm: James Abell: Mixing new technologies and traditional techniques

Sunday 15 Nov | 11.30 am: Greg Moore: Pastel painting demonstration | 2.30 pm: JulieGalante: Art inspired by travel

In addition, artist Leo Du Feu will run his highly popular painting workshops for children on Saturday and Sunday afternoon. These sessions are free and drop-in and they provide an amazing opportunity for kids of all ages to get their hands dirty and have fun with making art.
