New this year, EAF LIVE is a new concept that takes place during EAF2022 within the O2 Academy 'Baron Suite'.

 

Consisting of two nights of live music plus, an exclusive discussion followed by a Q&A session with former official still photographer to 'Prince', Afshin Shahidi. 

 

It is hoped that EAF LIVE will enhance the visitor experience for everyone attending the fair by bringing more entertainment and culture to an already packed event.

PORKPIE

Friday 18th - Doors 19.30

One of Scotlands best known and hardest-working SKA bands will be performing live in the O2 Baron Suite during EAF LIVE, a new concept running in tandem with EAF2022.

PORKPIE is a 9-piece band playing a mixture of SKA and Reggae favourites from the likes of; Madness, Bad Manners, The Specials, and The Beat.

PLUS: SKA, Rocksteady & Reggae DJ.

Martin Metcalfe

& The Fornicators

Saturday 19th - Doors 19.30

The creative force and frontman of Goodbye Mr. Mackenzie, Angelfish, and The Filthy Tongues, Martin Metcalfe brings his band The Fornicators to The Baron Suite at Edinburgh's O2 Academy, on Saturday 19th November, where they will perform an acoustic set consisting of songs from Martin's extensive repertoire. This intimate setting promises to be a very special night for all fans of Martin and his previous incarnations so please, get your tickets quick to avoid disappointment.

STILL PRINCE

Saturday 19th - Doors 13.30

Official 'Prince' photographer, Afshin Shahidi will be flying in from the U.S.A specifically for this year's Edinburgh Art Fair where he will be exhibiting intimate images of his friend Prince at EAF2022.

 

Shahidi will also be giving a talk discussing his life with the legendary musician followed by a question and answer session from the audience.

This is a one-off opportunity to meet the photographer, hear his stories, and learn something of the persona that was, 'Prince'.
