RKidd is a multi-instrumentalist singer-songwriter, with engineering & production experience. He composes and arranges his own material and has recently released his latest album R Dreams, inspired by a combination of personal circumstances, soul searching, and current affairs.

 

He is a musician with much experience in writing, mixing, and recording a wide variety of music.  As a multi-instrumentalist, he plays bass, acoustic and electric guitars, piano, organs, and a range of keyboards and percussion instruments, along with overseeing brass and string arrangements. He is also a skilled sound engineer, with many years of recording, mixing, and mastering experience.  

 

His involvement in studio work is wide-ranging, previously operating a successful studio in Glasgow before moving the operation to the south of France where he worked with various bands and musicians.  

 

His previous record industry experience includes recording and publishing contracts with Intercord (EMI) and Marina Records, releasing singles and an album on both vinyl and CD, and promoting his work via videos for MTV.

 

This year he has already performed at several summer festivals including Belladrum Tartan Heart and has a number of upcoming shows scheduled including a short tour of Europe and collaborations with Cincinnati’s Nicholas Johnson.
